Stability
The U-Step Walker 2 stands out due to its solid welded base, ensuring no wobbling and providing a secure walking experience. Its unique U-shaped base surrounds the user, bracing them in every direction to prevent falls. This design places most of the walker’s weight in the base, creating a low center of gravity for enhanced stability. Users report feeling as secure as they would when holding onto another person’s arm.
Control
The U-Step Walker 2 features an advanced wheel configuration with turning wheels positioned toward the middle of the base instead of the rear, as seen in traditional walkers. This allows the walker to pivot within a tight turning radius of just 29 inches, compared to 50 inches for most other advanced walkers. This compact maneuverability is ideal for navigating tight indoor spaces like washrooms, kitchens, and hallways.
Reversed Braking System
The walker incorporates an innovative braking system that ensures complete user control. The U-Step will not roll until you lightly squeeze either hand brake. Once released, the walker stops immediately—a particularly useful feature when standing up from a chair, as it prevents the unit from rolling away unexpectedly.
Laser & Sound Cueing Module (Optional)
Designed primarily for individuals with Parkinson’s freezing episodes or irregular gait patterns, this optional module aids in normalizing walking and increasing stride length:
- Laser Guidance: Press a button to project a bright red laser line on the floor, providing visual cues for stepping.
- Sound Cueing: Activate the sound feature to set a rhythmic beat that helps maintain consistent walking speed.

How does free shipping work?

How is my order shipped, and will I need to assemble anything?
Before shipping from our London, Ontario location, we perform a full Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) on your product. This includes (if applicable) assembling and testing the product to ensure it is in perfect condition.
- Smaller units (under 110 lbs): These are shipped through parcel services like FedEx, Purolator, or Canpar. They are preassembled but collapsed to fit into a package.
- Larger units (over 110 lbs): These are shipped via freight on pallets through shipping companies. They are secured to the pallet with nylon straps and covered in foam, boxing, and plastic wrap. Standard delivery includes curbside delivery, items will not be unboxed or assembled (if applicable). You can free them with a pair of kitchen scissors and often drive them off the pallet. Delivery drivers typically do not take back the pallets, although some may do so at their discretion.
What kind of warranty comes with my purchase?
All our powered mobility aids come with a manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring you get the same protection as you would in-store. The warranty covers parts but does not always include labor unless otherwise specified by the service center you choose. You can have your equipment serviced at any authorized dealer. If you need help locating a service center near you, our team is happy to assist.
How do I place an order?

How long will it take to receive my order?
