The HealthCraft L-Shaped 90° Grab Bar (30″ x 30″) is a heavy-duty bathroom safety bar designed to give support for both sitting and standing, typically in showers, by toilets, or beside tubs. It’s made from stainless steel so it resists rust and moisture in wet environments and is rated up to 500 lb when installed properly into solid structure.

If a wall stud is not available at the desired installation location, the Grab Bar is compatible with HealthCraft’s Easy Mount Hollow Wall Anchors, allowing for secure installation without the need for studs.

To install the L-Shaped 90° Grab Bar, you can follow these steps:

Select the Installation Location:
- Choose a location where the grab bar will provide support, such as over a circular shower valve or in a bathtub area.
- Ensure the chosen spot aligns with wall studs for maximum stability.
Locate Wall Studs:
- Use a stud finder to identify the positions of wall studs in the selected area.
- Mark the stud locations with a pencil at the desired height for the grab bar.
Position the Grab Bar:
- Hold the grab bar against the wall, aligning the 9-hole flanges with the marked stud locations.
- Use a level to ensure the bar is properly aligned.
Mark Drill Holes:
- Using the flanges as templates, mark the positions for the drill holes on the wall.
Drill Pilot Holes:
- Drill pilot holes at the marked positions to facilitate screw insertion.
Apply Silicone Sealant:
- Before attaching the grab bar, fill each pilot hole with silicone kitchen & bath sealant to create a waterproof barrier.
- Apply a layer of silicone sealant on the back of each flange to ensure a watertight seal between the flange and the wall.
Attach the Grab Bar:
- Align the flanges with the pilot holes and secure the grab bar to the wall studs using the provided screws.
- Tighten the screws firmly to ensure stability.
Conceal Mounting Hardware:
- Slide the flange covers over the mounting flanges to hide the screws, providing a clean and finished appearance.
Verify Stability:
- Apply pressure to the grab bar to ensure it is securely mounted and capable of supporting weight as intended.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kelly was extremely helpful and walked me through my purchase for a travel wheelchair that is actually better than my ADP wheelchair. I am so incredibly impressed by the C lite and the speed in which Mobility 1st was able to get it to me. Thank you.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We found customer service at Mobility 1st exceptional. We found ourselves needing to replace a damaged CPAP mask late on a Friday night. We were delighted to find that Mobility 1st actually has Saturday hours. We were over the moon to see that the unit we have been waiting for locally to arrive on back order was sitting on the shelf. Marion has been more than gracious and patient with my 89 year old father as we teach him how to use his new mask(s) and machine. We have been so impressed that when it came time for his walker upgrade we knew exactly where we would return. Lashimi (I apologize if I have spelled your name incorrectly) did not disappoint. Kind and patient, knowledgeable, no appointment necessary. Thank you very much. Definitely willing to recommend Mobility 1st to others, it is worth the drive!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I purchased an Eclipse Medical Pioneer Trailmaster scooter through Robert McKinlay at Mobility First here in London Ontario. I really appreciate Robs assistance. Rob had to special order the colour's that I wanted, along with the accessories that I selected. On top of that, on the day that I picked it up, I added another accessory. Rob got it done for me!

Of course, the first thing that I wanted to do, was to go for a cruise and go shopping at my favorite store. This beaty of a scooter performs exactly as specified. Lots of power and a long range. I'm 100 percent satisfied.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently purchased a power wheelchair from Mobility 1st. Robin, president and co-owner , was a pleasure to work with. Because I physically could not go to the showroom, she came to my apartment to do an in-home assessment and also brought a trial wheelchair with her so that I could experience how one handled. She said that the power wheelchair that I chose would come in two weeks- I had it in my apartment in less than 2 weeks. She also arranged for a technician to come the day after delivery to make some adjustments to the seat and footrest to add to my comfort. The power wheelchair had a price which was discounted $1804 off the MSRP making it very reasonably priced. I was very pleased with the whole experience.
